Black Label Original Tea Series - Dong Fang Mei Ren.
- A stunning Taiwanese tea with a special aroma of honey and ripe fruit. It is picked by hand, one bud and two leaves, before and after the Dragon Boat Festival. It has a fermentation degree of 78% and is rich and layered.
- Legend has it that a British tea merchant presented this tea to Queen Victoria, who was so impressed with it that she named it "Oriental Beauty" and praised it highly after tasting it.
- The tea is extremely delicate, smooth, and sweet, with a rich aroma of honey that is not cloying. The refreshing coolness of the upper palate is followed by a rich, layered taste.
- The tea leaves are bitten by small green leafhoppers, which naturally ferment them, creating a unique flavor of honey and ripe fruit. The tea is only picked in June and July of the summer months, making it rare and precious.
-
Only the tea leaves picked before and after the Dragon Boat Festival are selected and processed under professional supervision using 6 primary (sun-drying, shaping, killing, resting and rehydration, kneading, drying) and 6 refined production processes (stacking, wind sorting, picking, piling, roasting, and uniform stacking and cooling).
- The dry tea leaves are bright and colorful, with shades of green, white, red, yellow, and brown. The tea heart is furry and sparkling, and the leaf bottom is red, soft, and bright with even thickness. The tea soup is clear and translucent, like amber or a clear mirror.
- A drop of brandy added to the tea soup of Dong Fang Mei Ren enhances its flavor and is highly popular among Europeans, earning it the nickname "Champagne Oolong." It is said that drinking it feels like flowers in the throat, as if in a spring garden or a fairyland.
